Welcome to our Blog!

Hello! Welcome to our blog, Two Sisters, One Journey. I say "our" because this is a joint blog where you'll read about me, Paige (right), and my sister, Tiffany (left). We'll be documenting the ups and downs of being women in a world that often feels like it caters to men—especially when life takes unexpected turns.

The world has changed a lot over the years, and the roles of women and men are constantly evolving. By sharing our experiences, we hope to educate others so you don't have to make the same mistakes we did.

Who Are We?

I’m Paige, a blue-collar worker in a male-dominated field. I’m a welder in the shipyard, 29 years old, and divorced with three adorable cats—Faison, Stella, and Samantha. They’re my babies, and I talk about them as if they were my actual kids. When I’m not hanging out with my cats, you’ll most likely find me on my computer, either playing video games or enjoying board games with friends.

Hey everyone! This is Tiffany, and I’m going to interrupt my little sister real quick to introduce myself (in true older sister fashion). I have a Master’s degree in Business and am currently pursuing my Doctorate. My research focuses on the benefits of hiring individuals with criminal records. Since earning my Bachelor’s, I’ve worked in accounting and finance.

I’m 39 years old, unmarried (which, apparently, is still a big deal), but I’m in a long-term relationship. My partner and I have two cats, Lucy and Marco, and we’re planning to try for human babies in 2025. Like Paige, our lives revolve around our fur babies. I’ll let Paige take it from here.

Why Are We Here?

Obviously, Tiffany and I have some major differences—our age, style, music, hobbies, and even the food we like, just to name a few. We’ve always joked that if one of us hates something, the other is sure to love it. Despite these differences, we share some core similarities, shaped by growing up together in the same family.

As the youngest and oldest siblings, we often struggled to find common ground growing up—apart from fighting, of course! But as we became adults, we realized the other wasn’t so bad after all.

We’ve shared the challenges of growing into womanhood, sometimes side by side and sometimes thousands of miles apart (like when Tiffany lived in South Korea for three years). Life has brought us wonderful moments of joy and some difficult times that knocked us down a few pegs.

Through this blog, we’ll document the struggles we’ve faced as adult women and what we’ve learned about ourselves and life along the way. Our hope is to share our knowledge and experiences with other women through stories of our journey.
